Photo Shoot

What to expect

XOXO Hugs and Kisses captures photos of your family in a relaxed, informal way. Photos may be taken of each person separately, all together, all siblings, just the girls, just the boys, mom and dad, and any other appropriate combination.

Sitting Fee and Duration

The sitting fee for immediate family is $250 (and $350 for extended family). The photo shoot runs approximately one hour. You will receive a free 8" x 10" photograph with signed Model Releases.

Location

In the Kansas City area, XOXO Hugs and Kisses recommends using its picturesque 20-acre property, Shady Lake, which is just 20 minutes south of Overland Park off of Highway 69 (see map and photos). If outside the area, we will work with you in advance of your sitting to select a locale that is right for you.

What to wear

Simplicity is best. Families often wear complimentary colors. Women, you're hardest to please, so dress yourself first and wear simple jewelry. Men, wear something simple and complimentary. Kids wear anything timeless.

What to bring

Bring anything sentimental that would add to the "story" or memory (e.g., favorite blanket, special toy, fairy wings) and bribery items (e.g., candy, toys).

Proofs

Proofs are arranged as small numbered photographs printed on 8 1/2" X 11" paper. Proofs are in color; prints may be ordered in color, black and white, or sepia. Proofs are mailed to you, along with Model Release forms and a Print Prices sheet. Proofs may be purchased for $50. To place a print order online, simply complete the Print Order Form.

Payment

Sitting fee is due at time of services by cash or check.
